' Lakeside Beverages - Gin

A colorless alcoholic beverage made from distilled or redistilled neutral grain spirits flavored with juniper berries and aromatics.
It’s not England like many believe; Gin did not originate from Britain. In fact, if you don't count the Italian monks who are thought to have used juniper berries as flavorings in distilled spirits. The British people know their Gin very well. They were responsible for popularizing it in the 17th century, and English distilleries have prided themselves on both classic and modern versions of the spirit ever since. While there are almost too many great British Gins to count, some stand out above the rest.
